Do you like looking after a diverse range of patients in a varied environment? Transit Care Nursing is a vital part of the hospital flow process, supporting patient movement between departments and hospitals. The role requires skilled nurses who can think laterally and work autonomously in a varied, ever changing environment. The work is across the organisation, based at either North Shore or Waitakere Hospital. The hours of work (24/7) are across 7 days, 8 hour shifts. Successful candidates will be strong communicators with exceptional interpersonal skills who have recent experience working within an Acute, Emergency or Critical Care setting. You must have a minimum of 2 years acute NZ experience.
