St Josephs Home and Hospital is an aged care facility situated in the heart of Herne Bay We take pride in providing quality care for the 31 elderly residents that reside with us in our beautiful purpose built facility Surrounded by our stunning gardens with breath taking views of the Auckland Harbour Bridge this is a truly stunning work environment We are seeking motivated compassionate Registered Nurses to join our team and continue the mission of the Little Sisters of the Poor in caring for the elderly with compassion and love As the senior member of staff on your shift the ability and confidence to work autonomously is paramount as is a passion for quality health care To be successful in this role you will need To be a Registered nurse with Current NZ practicing certificate To have a minimum 1 years experience as a Registered Nurse To be InterRAI and MediMap competent Previous experience providing care to the elderly is desirable as is a post graduate qualification in Gerontology In return we will offer a competitive hourly rate payment of annual practicing fee free onsite parking and a great working environment We pride ourselves on making a home for our residents and we hope you will too
