About the role:
We are offering an opportunity for a mental health nurse wishing to work in a sub-acute/rehabilitation setting within the Puawai Forensic Psychiatric service. Puna Awhi-rua is a 12 bed ward, able to accommodate both male and female service users.

Requirements:
New Zealand registered nurse with a current practising certificate which enables you to work in Mental Health.
Interest in working within the challenging and rewarding setting of a Forensic service.
Able to work within a multi-disciplinary team, having excellent communication skills.
Able to support, and advocate for service users on a forensic pathway.

Ideally, you will be an experienced mental health nurse who is familiar with coordinating care and providing therapeutic interventions with adults experiencing mental health difficulties. Nursing experience in secure environments would be an advantage.
