Permanent, part time (40 hours per fortnight working 2 days one week and 3 days on the other)
Rostered/Rotating Shifts

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department (ED)/Acute Assessment Team (AAU).
If you are selected you will work with our dedicated team to provide the best care for our patients and their family/whanau.
This role will be challenging but rewarding, we are looking for superb nurses who will help us achieve our shared aim and the absolute desire for providing the very best emergency care to our community.
To be the right person for this role you will be a motivated and dedicated nurse who is experienced with working within a multidisciplinary team.

You will need to have:
Relevant post-graduate nursing experience with a minimum of 2 years consolidated practice.

A strong customer-focused approach to acute patient care.

Be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills with staff, patients and their family/whanau.

Have a desire to consistently deliver optimal patient care in a challenging environment.

Be a critical thinker

Demonstrate the DHB values

Have some Emergency Nursing experience or adaptable skills. (Desirable)

The Emergency Department Team will offer you the opportunity to realise your professional development aspirations in the Emergency setting. This exciting position is based in our modern emergency department facility. You will be required to work rostered and rotating duties in the Emergency Department and also the Acute Assessment Unit.
