With a nursing shortage and a cost-of-living crisis on our hands, we understand you have choice about where you work, and working for a charity isn't financially viable for everyone. If that's the kind of role for you, we have a select number of permanent part time and full time positions in South Auckland and Central-West Auckland . We are fully staffed in North Shore and East Auckland, but if you would like to be considered for a future position, feel free to register your interest.
At about 4 weeks old you will visit pepi then act as a case manager through to their final check – either seeing the whanau yourself, or if they are to visit a drop in clinic . Imagine, watching your community grow before your eyes!
We won't sugar coat it; Our Registered Nurse roles are complex and change doesn't come quick, but overwhelmingly, our nurses say it is a privilege to be able to be in homes and have whanau open up to us about their journeys . In this role, y ou'll meet whanau where they are ; literally by conducting house calls alongside hosting clinics andfiguratively by learning where they are in their unique parenting journeys.
Our scope of practice and duty of care means that assessing the development of our clients and the clinical aspects in our top to toe physical assessments co-exist with understanding the wider environment surrounding pepi which can involve exposure tofamily harm, substance addiction and high levels of deprivation.
Our registered nurse salariesare between $62,911 ($31.84 per hour) and$90,099 ($45.60 per hour) depending on experience
Being able to form connections with parents and caregivers is key to this position. You will come to us with exceptional clinical skills . Where we connect with clients with multiple needs, there will be a number of referrals to be written and sent, so a level of computer literacy is required for the role.

Se t business hours Mon day to Fri day means you'll be able to live your life and putting in leave request months in advance will be a thing of the past . Working out in the community means you ar e on your own and able to act autonomously – but you'l l always have your team only a phone call away.
