Registered Midwife - Botany Birthing Unit, Te Whatu Ora at Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand Counties Manukau, Auckland Do you have an interest for primary midwifery care? Want to work in a BFHIaccreditedPrimary Birthing Unit? We have opportunities for you! In this midwifery led unit,you will provide antenatal/intrapartum and postnatal care for women in our community. As the DHB is the primary caregiver for around 30% of the births, midwives employed in the unit have the opportunity to provide the full scope of midwifery care to women using this service.This 15 bedded BFHI accredited unit also receives another 1600 women for postnatal care from other hospitals and has around 400 births per year.
We currently have opportunities for NZRegistered Midwives,available in ourBotany Primary Birthing Unitwhich is located in the East Auckland region of Botany Downs.
