Registered and Enrolled Nurses - Specialist Mental Health PoolPermanent and Casual SMHS Nursing pool positions for RNs and ENs with mental health experience. While mental health experience is desirable, applications from staff who wish to gain experience within mental health are welcomed.Must be Registered with the Nursing Council of NewZealand with a current APC and must have a mental health scope ofpractice.Ability to work both autonomously and as part of acohesive Multi-Disciplinary Team.Mo te tunga | About the role Onboth the Specialist Mental Health Services' permanent and casual pools, we haveneed for Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses with mental health experience.Primarily based at Hillmorton Hospital, you will be providing cover acrossinpatient services; including acute adult admitting units, high/ complex needsservices, intellectual disabilities, forensics, specialty services, Mothers andBabies, Eating Disorders, Alcohol and Drug, and child and youth services. 
PLEASE NOTE: We currently have full-time/part-time permanent positions available alongside multiple casual positions, please specify which you would like to apply for in your cover letter.
Pehea | About You Thisposition requires a background in mental health, working as either a RegisteredNurse or an Enrolled Nurse, and the ability to work both autonomously, andalongside the mulitidisplinary teams you will be working with. The opportunityto cover in a variety of different settings across Specialist Mental HealthServices, means: 
We are looking for Registered and Enrolled nurses with excellent communication and time managementskills who can work effectively as part of the multidisciplinary team.As part of a progressive organisation that valueshonesty, respect and integrity for every individual, this multi-variedrole presents you with the opportunity to work in dynamic and challenginghealth environments. You will need to be confident, resilient and have theability to build strong and successful relationships, with the patientsand their families/whanau as we have a strong emphasis of re-engagementinto the community.Registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand with a current APC and mental health scope;Previous Mental Health scope and experience is preferred;Nurses with the right skills and attitude who do not have mental health experience but have mental health scope, would be considered on a case by case basis;Excellent communication and time management skills;Confident and resilient;Strong focus on relationship-building;Knowledge of and a commitment to Te Tiriti O Waitangi.Specialist Mental Health Services are an interdisciplinary team that forms part of Te Whatu Ora - Waitaha [Canterbury].
