To facilitate, support and oversee all support worker training in accordance with Access Kaiawhina Competency training, competencies, and qualifications in the regionTo contribute to the design and development of workplace training, comply with audit requirements and other tasks, to meet operational needs of the Access workforceTo facilitate, support and oversee all training requirements of the region, including general induction of non-support worker roles.Key responsibilities- Keep-up-to-date and informed about Access policies and procedures to ensure services are delivered in a manner consistent with quality management systems.- Maintain current knowledge of training curriculums.- Plan, develop and deliver group and individual tuition as per the programme curriculum.- Be responsible for the supervision, tuition, review, assessment of learners.- Load unit standard and qualfication information into Careerforce iPortal and complete and maintain learner records and other administration linked to learning and progression.- Produce regular reports on learning progression as requested by Access.- Undertake relevant professional development to maintain curriculum knowledge and quality standards and actively participate in ongoing training content review.- Facilitate training for other Access staff as required.Excellent verbal communication skills, coupled with a caring nature and the ability to connect and interact within a multi-cultural environment.A team player, someone who can build professional relationships in the communityTeaching experience and qualifications in adult learning, nursing, allied health, or teachingExperience in Health sector is desirableHold a registered assessor qualification and be an approved Careerforce Assessor or, has the ability to obtain thisHold or be prepared to undertake further study towards the Certificate in Adult Teaching.Intermediate level computer and on-line information recording skillsThe ability to plan and organise training effectively, to establish priorities and meet deadlines in a demanding environmentAbility to self-direct and manage a busy workloadA current full driver's license is essentialA demonstrated commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi in the workplaceActively demonstrates the ability and desire to show cultural sensitivity, awareness and understanding of diversityA supportive Nationwide team with a strong values-based cultureA passionate business that promotes diversity and inclusion that are reflective of the communities we serveCompany car, laptop and phoneSome flexibility to work from home or the officeA dynamic and supportive team cultureStructured and supportive orientationAccess to learning and professional developmentKo wai matou? | Who are we?Access Community Health (Hauora-Tara-A-Whare) is a leading provider of home-based healthcare and support.
