We have been working with disabled people / whanau haua and their families since 1935 and are at the forefront of service provision, advocacy and information sharing New Zealand-wide.We have an exciting role available for someone with a quality-based mindset. You will contribute to, and actively facilitate, enhancements in service quality within the Southern Region. This is a permanent Regional Quality Coordinator position and offers a unique blend of advancing staff skills and capabilities while overseeing the implementation and monitoring of quality and risk management practices.Job specific information:This is a key role to ensure organisational systems and process are in place to support the delivery of quality service. The ideal opportunity to take on a role that will contribute to the success of the region.This position allows you to further develop your process improvement mindset while improving service quality within the southern region.Work the hours based on your schedule, with the flexibility to enable work life balance (plus a paid day wellness leave).Receive access to our Employee Assistance Programme, providing free external counselling service.Leave work feeling like you have made a positive impact in the community.About the Role:The key purpose of the role is to be responsible for implementing the National Quality Framework to the region.You will work within the region to assess if local practices are achieving expected outcomes.Engage leaders, managers and staff to recognise that quality is everyone's focus and responsibility.Raise awareness and create understanding amongst regional staff of Te Whakapai Anga – our Quality framework.Contribute to successful outcomes of the framework and Contribute to identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks to the region's overall operation in collaboration with the General Manager.The Regional Quality Coordinator is also a member of the National Quality Group, the Regional Leadership team and supports the Southern Region.This role can be based at any of our South Island offices.About you:Our ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following personal skills and attributes and professional skills and knowledge.Excellent communication skills and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.Highly efficient in the use of use of office programmes such as Word, Outlook and Excel.Experience working within the Quality Assurance space or hold prior experience within process improvement .Experience in quality systems and gaining leaders and staff buy in.Great time management skills and an ability to manage multiple tasks and work.Excellent interpersonal skills and relationship management skills.Ability to review procedure aligned to strategic priorities and values.Ability to monitor, analyse, identify trends, and review processes.Commitment to quality improvement tracking processes.Understanding of the disability sector is an advantage, but not essentialHow to apply:To see a copy of the job description and application form for this role please go to : https://www.ccsdisabilityaction.org.nz/job-vacancies/regional-quality-coordinatorWe are committed to ensuring our application process is accessible to everyone.
