Regional Product Manager, Chemicals (Pharma) Regional Product Manager, Chemicals (Pharma) Purchasing, Procurement & Inventory (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)As part of the Biopharma APAC team, you will grow and manage the chemicals primarily solvent (GMP/non-GMP) product portfolio in Pharma/Biopharma/Research & Diagnostic markets in Asia Pacific region to achieve the organisational goal sustainabily.Duties and Responsibilities:Grow and oversees a portfolio of products to ensure all risks in the portfolio are evaluated and considered. Implement timely measures to ameliorate controllable risks to avoid catastrophic failure of the portfolio that will have a detrimental impact to the organisational goalManage new product introductions and steer product complianceManage product marketingDevelop strategy to continuously improve the performance of the portfolios to achieve business objectivesCultivate and engage strategic suppliers to become their preferred collaborators, to secure competitive pricing and supply reliabilityDerive pricing guidelines or mechanism of the key products for the region to ensure maximizing profit and minimizing losses.Perform regular in-depth market research of related key factors; e.g., feedstock market pricing, movements, supply situation and report market intelligenceCultivate and maintain strong authentic relationships with strategic suppliersSupport commercial heads in the countries and the clusters in their active pipeline of new business opportunities for theProducts Portfolio and conduct regular business reviews to monitor progressWork closely with commercial units to support their sales and marketing effortWhen needed, assist commercial to develop customer contracts quotation and proposals and attend to customer queries and provide value added solutions/initiatives to differentiate ourselves from the competitorsTake up any additional responsibilities assignedJob Requirement/Specification:Education: Bachelor Degree in related field (Chemistry, Chemical Engineering)Experience: Minimum 10 years in product management, sales & marketing or other relevant work in APAC or in regions.Others:Good communication skill and work effectively at executive, midlevel management and operating levels and customer organizationsStrong analytical skills with an understanding of profit and loss statementsStrong interpersonal skills able to work effectively in a multi-cultural environmentAble to travel as requiredProficiency in English is essential, fluent in Mandarin and any SEA language is an added advantageStrong suppliers' management and business acumenGoal and results orientedAgile, integrity and reliableYour application will include the following questions: Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Singapore?Brenntag, the global market leader in chemicals and ingredients distribution.
