With the incredible support of volunteers and field staff, to date we have planted more than 1.8 million native trees, cleared 637 hectares of invasive weeds and 12,000kg of rubbish. That's not to mention our predator control, species monitoring, the scores of people who have found full time employment through our Conservation Work Skills programme and thousands of volunteers connected to Te Taiao and educated on conservation issues across Aotearoa.By becoming a member of the CVNZ team, you will be using your passion for conservation to enable this mahi to continue and Papatuanuku to thrive.Regional Manager, WellingtonThe Regional Manager is responsible for overall business objectives and delivery of Conservation Volunteers programmes in the region, including national initiatives. This role requires a practical knowledge to successfully deliver environment and community projects.The Regional Manager will work with the National Operations Manager to construct detailed project plans and budgets, including resourcing, monitoring and stakeholder engagement. The incumbent will have the ability to convey the project requirements to the team with a clear understanding of delivery timeframes and be a strong advocate for the region to drive future investment and participation.Job Type: Permanent position – Full-time or Part-time (0.8)Location: WellingtonHours: Full-time – 38 hours (5 days) per week / Part-time – 30.4 hours (4 days) per weekSalary: $70,000 – 80,000 p.a.
