Nga kawenga About the roleWe're looking for a proven leader to become the Manager Reintegration Services - Communities, Partnerships & Pathways within the Nelson / Marlborough / West Coast region. You'll be responsible for leading a team who is accountable for the delivery of reintegrative services to support a person along their pathway, enabling reintegration outcomes in alignment with own and local needs. This includes the delivery of services for accommodation, education, training, and employment for people within our management and a focus on shifting towards a local commissioning model. This is a Regional role - applications are welcomed from across Nelson, Marlborough or the West Coast.Nga pukenga me nga wheako Skills and experience Previous experience managing a diverse team, with competing priorities, together with a good knowledge and understanding of staff development, communication, and relationship management. Experience in the provision or delivery of services relating to education, training, accommodation or employment. Exceptional communication and relationship building skills with an ability to influence peers and outcomes. Experience dealing with and understanding the factors that impact rehabilitation and reintegration, coupled with a sound working knowledge of key agencies, both governmental and non-governmental, in the social / justice sectors. Ability to network and maintain professional working relationships with external agencies and stakeholder groups, taking account of their strategic goals, pressures and priorities. A strategic thinker with advanced problem solving and analytical skills, to influence and contribute to the delivery of shared outcomes. A good understanding of the Corrections regulatory framework (legislation relating to Corrections and the Bill of Rights Act). Strong commercial acumen, identifying ways of achieving outcomes to meet local needs through external local partnerships and relationships and sound understanding of commissioning and contracting practices and processes. Can operate effectively in a Maori cultural setting (Te Reo, Tikanga and an understanding of the Treaty of Waitangi). Ability to develop and maintain strong working relations internally and with external agencies and stakeholder groups, taking account of their strategic goals, pressures and priorities Utu a-tau SalaryScale C of the Frontline Managers Collective - $125,985.
