In this newly created position you will promote Nelson Marlborough Health careers to school leavers, university graduates and people looking for a change of direction. You will organise careers fairs, open days and liaise with careers staff across the district. You will work with Nelson Marlborough Health staff to help them promote various entry-level roles and will come up new ideas, initiatives and projects to encourage people to consider a career in the health sector.
Ko wai he kaitono totika? (Who is an appropriate applicant?)
You will bring recruitment or sales/marketing experience. Knowledge of the health sector will be beneficial but not essential. You will have strong interpersonal skills, an outgoing personality and strong organisational know-how. You will need the ability to engage with people in a public setting and talk to them about health careers. Your day to day will include a high level of interaction with HR colleagues, managers, the public and other organisations. This means your relationship building skills and your ability to work with people will come to the fore.
