ourselves on putting purpose people and productivity before profit The Job We have a myriad of clients based in Dunedin and the wider Otago region including Gore Invercargill Oamaru Alexandra Queenstown and Wanaka and due to an increase in client demand we are looking for a Recruitment Consultant who will join our existing team based from our Dunedin offices This position is varied and busy which requires someone who thrives in a fast paced environment and enjoys change as each recruitment project that you manage will involve working with clients from different industries and finding candidates with talents and skills working in various regions across Otago Some travel may be required You will enjoy the thrill of juggling lots of different recruitment projects and thrive on being a true consultant to your clients who rely on you to provide them with expert advice and sound strategies to source the best candidates for their vacancies all within agreed timelines This is a handson job which will see you working with our existing clients on various recruitment projects as well as building relationships and partnerships with more organisations across the areas that we service Exceptional communication skills both on the phone via email and face to face is critical to succeed in this role You naturally enjoy networking and meeting new people as well as leveraging from your existing network to identify and build new relationships and have the confidence to consult with clients and provide them with bespoke solutions to their recruitment needs You will be process driven with impeccable attention to detail as a thorough recruitment process which results in matching the perfect candidate to a job brief is your main objective You will have a flair for creative writing and an interest in marketing ensuring that you write eye catching job advertisements which will be placed online on job boards social media platforms and in printed media and specialist publications You will be resilient by nature and have the bouncebackability to deal with setbacks during a project objectively and with professionalism after all when you are dealing with people anything is possible You will be tech savvy and be proficient in Microsoft Word formatting documents writing emails and you will have an excellent memory and follow through ensuring that you deliver everything you agreed in your project plan on time every time The Person You may currently be in a role which involves managing projects or dealing directly with customers and looking for a change of career or you may be an experienced recruiter within either an agency or internal environment You may not classify yourself as a salesperson but you have the natural ability to make connections and influence outcomes and describe yourself as a real people person You bring exceptional communication skills organisational skills and a passion for service You are confident client facing and thrive on keeping busy juggling several projects at any one time We are a small business and would like someone to join our team who is extremely passionate about what they do Someone who
