Reception / Admin Assistant – temporary full-time cover (2 weeks+) – Wellington CBD

We’re looking for a friendly, proactive front office professional to cover for our wonderful Receptionist / Administrative role while we're recruiting a permanent staff member.
Ideally, you'll be able to start full-time on Monday, 2nd March 2020 and stay on for 2, possibly 3 weeks after.

Our Reception staff is highly valued as the first contact that our visitors interact with. In this role, you’ll be welcoming our visitors and seeing that they’re well looked after. You’ll occasionally provide back-up support to our Chief Executive’s EA so multi-tasking and staying calm under pressure will be a few of your trademark skills.
Together with the Office Manager, you’ll ensure that our office supplies are replenished and that our kitchens are stocked with paper towels, coffee, dishwashing liquid and so forth. Keeping our meeting rooms fresh and providing clean water glasses as well as refilling our signature herb/fruit-infused water as needed is an important component to the role. We host local, national, and international stakeholders, and you’ll support this by arranging catering, helping with set up/clearing as required. Our front desk also receives deliveries so the ability to lift and move items such as large bags of pet food is required.
Key Skills:

Prior experience in reception work or administrative support is an advantage.You will still be considered if you have strong customer service experience, and a positive, welcoming manner.

Consistent, professional dress and manner

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Above average competency in the Microsoft Office Suite

Able to pick up new systems quickly

Good time management skills

Positive contributor to a team, helping out with various tasks as required
