Te Whatu Ora, Waitaha is home to a busy radiology servicebased at Christchurch Hospital, the largest tertiary centre in the South Island.The service also encompasses several other sites including Christchurch Women'sand Burwood hospitals. Our new hospital houses state of the art equipment andoffers a varied case mix including local and regional, general and subspecialtywork. Our mix of general and subspecialty trained radiologists work closelytogether with a supportive team culture being a strength of our service. 
TeWhatu Ora, Health New Zealand, leads the day-to-day running of our healthsystem across New Zealand, with functions delivered at local, district,regional and national levels. It weaves the functions of the 20 former DistrictHealth Boards into its regional divisions and district offices, ensuringcontinuity of services in the health system.
As anorganisation we deliver health services to the almost 600,000 people that livein the Canterbury region. We are committed to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and itsprinciples by ensuring our partnership with Maori are at the forefront of allour conversations.
We offer 12-month radiology fellowships in:
AbdominalChestMusculoskeletalObstetrics and GynaecologyInterventionalYou will work alongside a motivated team ofRadiologists who support a progressive tertiary service in a beautifullocation. This intake is for our 2026 Fellowship. To be considered for this role you will need to eligible to gain registration with the New Zealand Medical Council.
