The Graduate Programme Our Country Banking graduate programme offers hands-on banking experiences across three six-month rotations throughout New Zealand, supported by a series of workshops and projects. You will have a dedicated buddy, who started as a graduate, as well as on-going support from mentors throughout the business, and an incredibly supportive Graduate Programme team.
Your time will be spent working alongside the various teams within Country Banking New Zealand located around the country; anywhere from historic Invercargill to sunny Whangarei.
About you Like our clients and farming and growing communities, we are seeking diverse, positive, ambitious and motivated individuals who are ready for their next challenge and are keen to help shape the future of agribusiness through banking.
To be eligible for the programme you'll have completed a tertiary qualification in the last 24 months or be working to completion prior to the commencement of the programme in February 2025. Your qualification will be in Commerce, Business, Agriculture, Finance, or similar.
You'll be an energetic self-starter, determined, eager to learn and be challenged within a diverse agribusiness banking environment. We are looking for individuals who are keen to work in locations all around NZ, as you will move between these throughout your programme.

Monday 24th June: Longlisted candidates will receive an online assessment to complete and return by Friday 28th June
W/C Monday 1st of July: Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an in-person assessment centre
Thursday 11th July: In-person Assessment Centre will be held in Wellington. Please note; attendance is mandatory to be considered for the 2025 graduate intake. Rabobank will assist with travel arrangements.
W/C Monday 15th July: Reference checks will be completed for successful applicants
