About the Role: As a Quantity Surveyor within this consultancy, you will embark on a rewarding journey, working closely under the guidance of a Senior QS. This role is ideally suited for someone who is positioned between a Junior and Intermediate level and is eager to advance their career in a pure QS consultancy firm. Key Responsibilities: Assist in both pre and post-contract Quantity Surveying duties, including cost planning, preparation of bills of quantities, cost control, and valuation of work. Work closely with clients and project teams to ensure the highest quality of service and advice. Support the Senior QS in project management and consultancy tasks, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. Engage in continuous learning and development under the mentorship of experienced professionals. Requirements: Relevant tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field, recognised in New Zealand. MRICS or NZIQS would be advantageous. A minimum of two years of experience in Quantity Surveying, demonstrating a strong foundation in QS principles and practices. A keen learner with the ambition to grow within a pure QS consultancy environment. Demonstrate flexibility and resilience in dealing with complex issues, and deploys sound problem solving methodology Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
