The salary range for this role is 75,000-82,500NZD per annum. YOUR TASKS This is a full-time permanent position (40hrs) located in Waihi, Waikato. Lead and coordinate customer/production/supplier incident response & non-conformance management for electronics Perform proper investigation of products and / or processes through the use of established root-cause analysis tools and principles. Conduct feasibility studies to assess and understand potential improvement ideas in order to build business cases for implementation Initiate and execute implementation of improvement activities in accordance to established requirements and timelines Preparation of quality and compliance documentation / information and other related communications material. Perform testing/inspection of products & components in accordance to established methodologies and requirements, including but not limited to electrical and mechanical testing. Lead in maintenance of the calibration system. Lead and assist the maintenance of the ESD Program Develop, implement and maintain standardised processes for HNZ Quality management system and Environmental management system in alignment with Hella's Business Process Management (BPM) and international standards. Perform quality activities for new or changed product introductions including Initial Sample Inspection Reports Support internal & external audits YOUR QUALIFICATIONS 3- 5 years' experience in quality engineering role Experience in Electronics SMT manufacturing Sound skills in applying statistical methods in determining and developing process capability Working understanding of standard quality tools e.g. SPC, 6 Sigma, 8Ds etc. Experience with or have completed Lead Auditor training Experience or have completed ISO9001 and or ISO14001 training An Engineering/Science, or relevant tertiary degree.
