Quality Improvement Lead: Medicine/Mental Health & Addictions0.8 FTE.6 months fixed term/secondment opportunity
Are you quality focused and methodical?
If yes, the Medical/Mental Health and Addictions Group has an exciting opportunity for you!
This position exists to lead quality improvement activities across the Medical Mental Health and Addictions Clinical Care Group to support the delivery of cost efficient and evidence based best practice for whanau centred services.
The position is responsible for leading and contributing to local, regional and national service development projects that will support the services to achieve the goals of Hauora Tairawhiti and will ensure that all services are meeting the needs of the whanau/families who access our services.
It is expected that the person in this role will work actively to improve the integration between medical and mental health together with the Medical/ Mental Health and Addictions Leadership and Quality teams, clinicians, kaimahi.
The ideal candidate will have:
Tertiary level qualification relevant to Health or other appropriate sector
A proven commitment to Quality Improvement
Proven project management success
Excellent written and communication skills
