Quality Control Employee

The Quality team ensure our fantastic miniature apples get to our customers round the world in top condition. This includes -Inspect fruit at multiple stages in the packing process,Test fruit samples at harvest and in the packhouse,Keep quality records,Communicate quality standards to packing staff,Complete training in quality and hygiene standards.The season starts mid-late February 2021 and goes through to late September. We provide regular hours through the season. There are 2 shifts to choose from - Day Shift 6.00 am – 4.00 pm Monday to Saturday.Night Shift 4.30 pm - 02.30 am Sunday to Friday.Weekend work is mainly at the busy start of the season and is likely to reduce as the season progresses.Skills You Need -Full training is provided, just bring your positive attitude plus, You are the type of person who wants things done right.You have attention to detail.Experience of quality and hygiene standards in a packhouse or food handling would be an advantage.Computer literate for record keeping,Team player and work well with others.Physically fit and willing to be hands on,Reliable attendance and have transport to work.Benefits - Competitive rates for Quality roles,Higher pay for returning staff,Small enough to get to know the team,Meal shouts if production targets are met,Employee of the week prizes,Help to get off-season work with partner companies.
