We are looking for an experienced Quality Compliance Lead to be responsible for the day to day operation and forward planning of the Plants Internal and External Compliance Programs. This will include raw and final product quality, site pest program and other compliance related tasks. The main functions of this role, is to monitor and feedback the day to day compliance requirements for the Timaru site, and to take appropriate steps to improve its effectiveness.
This role will be required to understand, comply with, and where necessary enforce, company policies and practices currently in place and any new policies/practices that are implemented.
About the role A hands on role in promoting/improving H&S culture and ensuring compliance within the PlantResponsible for the adherence and sustainment of all the Plant Programs, Policies and ProceduresInvolved in Continuous Improvement activities, implement and sustain improvements madeParticipate in the internal audit program at the Timaru siteMaintain the internal audit schedule and responsible for driving the associated CAR's to completionBe the lead or co-lead in all external 3rd party audits at the Timaru siteSupport with the implementation, sustainment and continuous improvement of external audits Support the maintenance of an accurate document control system for the Timaru site Assist with new product development opportunities and product changes/updates including specificationsAbout you Qualified Internal AuditorA minimum of 3 years Manufacturing/Quality experienceTertiary qualification in science/technical/manufacturingExperience in QC/QA and quality Management systemsExperience leading or participating in a HACCP and/or Quality system teamChange management or project management experienceExcellent written and verbal communication skills Be highly motivated with attention to detail and accuracy Excellent people and communication skills What's in it for you?
