This role could be based in Wellington, or Auckland and is a permanent full time position.The QualityAssurance Specialist determines whether learning outcomes have been met byundertaking external moderation activities with multiple providers, in accordance with external moderation plans. This role has a focus on continuousimprovement and working collaboratively with providers to monitor and evaluateassessment documentation and decisions to ensure that standards are appliedvalidly and consistently to all learners. Besides moderation, this role is alsoresponsible for other quality assurance activities including consent to assess,micro-credential support and programme endorsement.Key responsibilities include:Undertaking pre- and post- assessment moderation of provider assessment materials (desk-based, on- site, or forums)Providing specialist input into the development of moderation plansEngaging with providers to ensure compliance and improvementEvaluating consent to assess and programme endorsement applications from providersWe'd love to hear from you if you have:Experience in the tertiary or vocational education sector - knowledgeof NZQA, New ZealandQualifications framework, and training delivery optionsThe QualityAssurance Specialist determines whether learning outcomes have been met byundertaking external moderation activities with multiple providers, in accordance with external moderation plans.
