Job DescriptionAs a Quality Assurance Specialist, you have ownership on the quality of the product and the development of Supply Chain Partners (suppliers) in terms of Assortment & Brands teams' quality standards.
You are responsible for registering tests and risk assessments according to the quality routine and follow it up accordingly.
You are responsible for validating/conducting the risk assessments in all required stages.
You initiate and follow up on external lab test and work with the results together with business team.
You maintain close co-operation with internal and external stakeholders, by having a good knowledge on Supplier's quality process, to analyse potential quality problems already in the early stage.
Job Location will be Porto Office.
QualificationsExcellent knowledge of the Statutory and Regulations of the EU, US, JP, CN for hardgoods products – food contact product, home decoration item). Able to identify the mandatory and desired regulatory requirements across multiple geographies.Knowledge of the EU REACH and CLP Regulations, be able to evaluate the compliance of chemical products.5 + years of working experience as quality assurance role in manufacturing and buying office or 3rd party testing lab management.Knowledge of the Statutory and Regulations of South East Asia, Middle East, Australia, New Zealand, South America is a plus.Technical knowledge across a broad range of Home hardgoods product manufacturing and quality control process.Familiar with the physical test of children products, candle, furniture, food contact products and home decoration items.Familiar with the tools, concepts and methodologies of quality management would be highly regarded. Such as ISO 17025, GMP, ISO 9001 etc.Able to work autonomously whilst also excelling in cross department collaborationBe proactive and highly motivatedWill to learnExcellent Communication skills, interpersonal and creative problem-solving skill#J-18808-Ljbffr
