About the role The QA Officer's objective is to ensure that Doehler's quality system is maintained and improved, liaise with subcontractors, check trends to detect any abnormality, do audits and checks, raise and follow non-conformances, participate in QA tasks, and follow Quality standards/procedures. To be successful in this role you will required to perform the following functions: Control maintain and monitor QMS (including kosher, halal, organic, and food safety) Ensuring customer QA requirements, documentation, non-conformances are maintained. Driving performance through quality metrics and site KPIs Maintain and manage the non-conformances process, developing and implementing quality assurance procedures. Drive quality initiatives and processes, improving manufacturing and product quality standards. Working closely with Production/QA teams to troubleshoot issues, ensuring corrective actions, and facilitating solutions. Conduct group brainstorming sessions to determine root cause analysis, and identify corrective actions to manage risk. Coaching, developing, and empowering employees at all levels, embedding our values of delivering quality into ways of working and driving ownership of quality outcomes. Solutions focused, lead, and manage internal and external quality audits/site inspections. Lead the quality and food safety agenda. Ensure Good Manufacturing Practices, Cleaning, and Sanitation Programs are in place and effective. HACCP team leader Drive continuous improvement within the Quality and Production environment. Comply with safety and security in the workplace. About you Experience Ideally have come from a food manufacturing background include quality system management, audits; as well as have knowledge of GMP, HACCP, certification process and audits. You will be a person strong on motivational skills, team building and have a proactive approach. Candidates with previous QC experience in the food manufacturing environment will also be considered.
