Wilson Tunnelling a part of Wilson Group is the leading Tunnel Lining Segment manufacturer in New Zealand As family owned company we are dedicated to offering superior solutions tailored to meet the needs of our clients Proudly employing the latest in design innovative processes and production procedures to ensure the highest quality product is produced Currently involved with two of New Zealand s largest infrastructure projects Central Interceptor waste water tunnel and the City Rail Link doubletrack rail tunnel we are on the lookout for talented people to join our experienced team We are looking for a skilled individual that has sound knowledge and background in the construction and manufacturing industry Having experience with quality control and testing in a concrete manufacturing environment would be beneficial The ideal candidate must be a selfstarter and be able to work unsupervised Capable of managing the quality and testing requirements for the projects while meeting company KPIs The successful candidate should be a punctual and detailoriented person with excellent written and verbal communication skills Intermediate computer skills are essential to be able to generate test reports and data analysis Key functions of this role will include Daily control of testing laboratory operations Sampling and testing of fresh concrete Sampling and testing of reinforcing bars Various test specimen preparation Testing of hardened concrete Reports and dashboard data preparation Monitoring and compliance with company KPIs Laboratory equipment maintenance The successful candidate will need to bring the following skills and attributes to the team Positive and high energy personality with the ability to work in a collaborative environment Dynamic and professional approach Proven organisational skills and an ability manage multiple tasks Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy Intermediate Microsoft skills particularly Word Excel Strong ability to use initiative to solve problems find efficiencies and champion new ideas Great communication skills and an ability to communicate with people across all levels of the organisation This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a very successful privately owned business Remuneration will be negotiated on experience and other skills offered by the right candidate Applicants MUST have a legal right to live and work in New Zealand and have a full and valid NZ Driver License Apply using the link below if you want to be part of our growing team and believe that your experience will be beneficial and fits this role We are looking forward to hearing from you
