Qualified Teacher

We are currently seeking a fun, motivated and creative team player to join our well established team at BestStart Portage Road Kindy. Creativity is a core part of our philosophy and our teachers are encouraged to express their own creativity through their teaching.

This is a rare part time role for 32.5 hours per week.

We are a fabulous team who are planning and re-implementing our nature walk programme inspired by the Forest School programme concept. It provides learning opportunities through practical activities in the outdoors environment. Children enjoy the freedom to explore and experience the natural world in all seasons and weather. It develops innovation, problem-solving, risk-taking, creativity and team work, supporting and developing self-esteem.

We believe it is this partnership that drives our local curriculum and is reflective in our teaching practice that forms a solid foundation which sets out children up for a lifelong love of learning.
