This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week Monday-Friday. You be working with our 4-5 year old tamariki. The Waita Room create weekly activities that are based on the tamariki and their ever changing interests. We help prepare tamariki for school by working together to build strong foundations using their interest and participating in engaging activities. In the Waita room, tamariki are encouraged to be independent and responsible for themselves.Role requirements: Commit to making a difference in the lives of young learners with a team dedicated to excellence. We are looking for the following: B Ed/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE or Primary) and current Teacher Certification Good understanding of child-led curriculum, planning and extending on our children's learning Demonstrate good knowledge of the current ECE Regulations, Te Whariki and hold compliance in a high regard A strong commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi through pedagogical practices Passion and commitment for teaching and learning with a focus on delivering quality
