We are a purpose-built centre located centrally, right across the road from Hagley Park. We are licensed for up to 50 children, which includes both an under and over two area. Our Nursery is spacious, relaxed and inviting with a teaching team who have created a calm, unhurried atmosphere. Children are given full attention during those all-important routine times of eating, sleeping and nappy changing. By working at each child's individual pace, we are able to ensure their ever-changing needs are nurtured. This is a fixed term position working 40 hours per week Monday-Friday. This is to cover parental leave and will start in April 2024 and ending in January 2025. Role requirements: Commit to making a difference in the lives of young learners with a team dedicated to excellence. We are looking for the following: B Ed/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE) and current Teacher Certification Good understanding of child-led curriculum, planning and extending on our children's learning Demonstrate good knowledge of the current ECE Regulations, Te Whariki and hold compliance in a high regard Engage in planning and internal evaluation meetings. A strong commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi through pedagogical practices Demonstrate compassion and commitment to teaching and learning with a focus on quality learning outcomes
