Purchasing, Procurement & Inventory (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics) Allied Medical is an industry leader and established distributor of assistive technology products with a goal of making it easy for New Zealanders to do what they want to do – no matter what their ability. We are looking for a purchasing professional to join our team and lead the charge in making this part of our business tick like clockwork. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role will provide procurement leadership and support across the business. What is the role responsible for? Management of end-to-end purchasing function within the business, leading a team of three Troubleshooting challenges as they arise and coaching team members to deal with day-to-day problem-solving S&OP process management and digging deep into analytical reporting Working alongside the Marketing and Sales Teams to determine product demand, pricing strategies and range rationalisation Continually reviewing processes to ensure optimum consistency and efficiency across the supply chain Vendor relationship management, including freight suppliers What are we looking for? A breadth of procurement experience within inventory-based organisations Leadership and team management experience Experience with Exo and Netstock would be advantageous Intermediate to advanced Excel ability and an aptitude for technology A passion for continuous improvement and Lean Attention to detail with strong mathematical and analytical skills Solutions focused with strong analytical, problem-solving and project management skills Excellent communication skills - both written and oral Why join Allied Medical team?
