Teaching - Tertiary (Education & Training) Our Campus Services team is looking for a Property Services Team Leader responsible for compliance management, day to day operational process management of building safety, operational security, infrastructure, grounds, and maintenance making sure that health and safety standards are met while ensuring buildings and spaces a kept to a high standard of condition. This role oversees campus facilities across all sites (Nelson, Tasman and Marlborough) to ensure we maintain an optimal working environment for staff, learners, contractors, and visitors. The key responsibilities for the role are: To lead and support a small professional team Manage infrastructure systems such as lifts, heating, access, and security Develop and implement an annual Maintenance Management Plan Develop and implement an annual Operational Compliance plan Manage contractors on site as well as Health and Safety management and Compliance Maintain Facilities Management database, reports, budgets and operational reviews Project management of minor works relating to construction, site maintenance and infrastructure. Maintain effective relationships with staff, contractors and lease holders You will be expected to manage our after hours services and travel between campuses to ensure consistency and compliance. To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate you: meet the skills and experience outlined in the job description attached experience in facility management or maintenance and the ability to liaise with contractors have the ability to apply knowledge of Health & Safety regs and legislation to this role have confidence with Microsoft programmes and using computers - particularly Word, Excel and Outlook have confidence with Building Management systems are well organised and can effectively handling multiple tasks, meeting deadlines and setting priorities have excellent communication skills Permit to work training would be a benefit Trades or property maintenance knowledge would be a benefit, as would a background or interest in project management.
