We have an opportunity available for an experienced Surveyor to join our Eastern Busways Project team.
The purpose of a Project Surveyor role is supporting the survey team to maintain the Alliance's geospatial information, this involves data verification, data set out, survey as built and outputting info into software systems.
Autonomous role where you can manage your dayHard work is recognised - build a career and not just do a jobOngoing training and development providedAccess to Fletchers Benefits Programme, including discounted health insurance, family scholarship & share scheme along with multi-business discounts for you and your family to enjoy Role Responsibilities: You will be confident in liaising directly with the client to gather the information you needAssist with strategies, systems and procedures for the execution of all surveying operations to the required level of accuracy & qualityAbility to work with construction drawings and be able to produce setting out data using CAD to transfer accurate set out onto siteBecome familiar with 12D model software & develop draughting & modelling skills to be able to produce basic drawings, calculations and report volumesRegular reporting of the progress and construction issues to the Survey Manager and assisting in the preparation of formal reports.Strong understanding of all survey principles and procedures What you'll bring to the role: 3+ years of relevant New Zealand experience.Diploma in Surveying or relevant industry qualificationStrong communicator, you will be comfortable communicating at all levelsAn understanding of Civil 3D, 12D and LandonLine is advantageousFull NZ Driver's License Now is a great time to join our business.
