At the heart of the electricity sector, we transport high voltage electricity from where it is generated to large electricity users and the distribution businesses that deliver it to homes and businesses nationwide.With a whole-of-industry view of the electricity sector, our team is working hard to enable accelerated electrification and a more sustainable, net carbon zero future.About the teamTo enable this future, our Grid Delivery division is accountable for the delivery of all work across New Zealand's transmission network. This includes project and maintenance work delivered in conjunction with our service provider organisations. Transpower delivers approximately $400M capex and $100M in opex per annum and this is forecast to grow.The Project Support team is responsible for providing project support and performance services to over 50 project managers, to enable successful delivery of all grid capital investigation and build projects. Check out the mahi we support here Projects | Transpower About the opportunityIf you are looking for interesting and meaningful work with great development opportunities over time, look no further!As part of our team of Project/Programme Coordinators, based in our Wellington office, you'll provide end-to-end support services to investigation Project Managers, working in partnership to deliver successful projects.You'll connect information and tasks and provide insights about our customers to enable smooth delivery of our capital programme. Plus, you'll work closely with relevant National Delivery Managers on their portfolio of projects to ensure a good understanding of tools and processes to give visibility and help drive performance.You'll enjoy a variety of tasks including:Being the point-of-contact for project support and informationEnd-to-end financial management support, including forecasting, invoicing, accruals, and variancesMonitoring and analysis of reports and metrics to help manage projects and improve qualityProactively identifying and driving continuous business improvementAs someone who loves the buzz that comes from working in a fast-paced environment, you'll be able to put your excellent time management skills to the test.
