Project Manager

A widely known Public Sector Organisation that makes a meaningful impact on the lives of New Zealanders is embarking on one of the most significant transformation programmes in the public sector and is looking for a Senior Project Manager on a fixed term basis until the end of June 2025 initially.This Senior Project Manager will be pivotal in being able to seek clarity throughout the transformation supporting a specific workstream that will manage the delivery with support from internal technology teams and Vendor partners.Building relationships is key; you will work closely with Senior Leaders, Vendors, Business Experts, and Delivery Leads, ensuring effective communication between key stakeholders. By leveraging project management expertise in a proactive way, you will ensure on-time delivery, quality adherence, and budget management.You will be proactive in risk identification, mitigation, and in aligning the project's trajectory with its intended outcomes.Key Experience Required:Over 10 years in a Senior Project Management role, preferably public sector, and at least 5 years transformation projects that drive both business and technological results.Exceptional communication skills with the ability to relay messages to all stakeholders, from executive levels to project team members, paired with strong relationship-building and collaborative capabilities.Familiarity with a range of project methodologies, and experience in Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid approaches.Ability to understand the overarching strategy, view the "big picture", and demonstrate leadership in coordinating multiple projects.Confident in tools including Microsoft Project, Jira, and other Microsoft Office applications, alongside a keen financial understanding to interpret data and make recommendations.A proven track record of collaboration with Vendor partners to deliver resultsExperience with transformation programmes and technology orientated projects such as Data and Integration is criticalFor more information please contact Jaymin Southee on 044999471, ******, or apply today.#J-18808-Ljbffr
