Role type : 24 month fixed-term, full-timeLocation : WellingtonSalary Band : $127,472 to $150,000 depending on skills and experience Korero mo te Turanga - About the RoleWe have an exciting project focussed fixed term opportunity for a Project Manager within the Digital Portfolio Office for someone who has strong all-round Project Management experience at a senior level. Work within a high performing team to migrate our document management system into SharePoint Online. There may be a need to support other projects as required. You will have experience planning and managing complex projects, spanning a range of business areas, and requiring multiple work streams. You will be comfortable engaging and working with various Stakeholders across all levels. Mou - About You To be successful in this role, you'll ideally have proven experience managing digital projects or programmes in a large and complex organisation. In addition to the above, we are seeking an applicant who will : Bring relevant experience in comparable ICT Project Management roles, ideally gained within a government environment with a mix of application and infrastructure projects. Particularly SharePoint online and Document management. Possess project management qualification / certification. Possess sound knowledge of project management techniques and frameworks and the ability to apply these. Have exceptional stakeholder management skills (senior leadership, technical subject matter experts, business subject matter experts, vendors / suppliers / partners) Have effective communication skills (written, verbal, interpersonal) Have previous experience working with project management tools (e.g. MS Project) Have proven leadership skills, with a focus on leading project teams to successful outcomes Be committed to ongoing learning, adapting approaches as needed, and a collaborative mindset.
