Join the IR Group team in Wellington CBD and contribute to exciting projects and a positive workplace culture.Position: Project ManagerCompany: IR Group ( Wellington CBDType: Full-timeKey Responsibilities:Scope, plan, and estimate diverse construction projects.Assemble and coordinate consultants to build a robust project team.Liaise with consultants to drive design and construction phases.Conduct contractor procurement/tenders and participate in post-tender analysis, value engineering, and contract awards.Induct contractors, lead site meetings, and monitor issues, risks, incidents, budgets, and programs.Manage contractor queries, RFIs, and defects phases, coordinating practical completion documentation.Collaborate with in-house designers when needed, providing constructive feedback on drawings.Foster the growth and development of team members by sharing knowledge.Develop new workflows and templates to optimise internal processes.Attend industry events, keep professional affiliations/accreditations up to date, and work towards relevant qualifications.Qualifications and Experience:A construction-related tertiary qualification.Proven experience managing construction projects in NZ (experience running education projects is an advantage).Excellent PC skills and proficiency in using a range of cloud-based programs.Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.Enthusiasm for contributing to a fun and dynamic team environment.What We Offer:Competitive compensation package.Collaborative and dynamic work environment.Great opportunities for professional development and learning.Quarterly health and well-being allowance.Diverse tasks and projects within a growing construction consultancy.If you're a proactive individual eager to contribute to a company valuing professional excellence and a positive workplace culture, we'd love to hear from you.
