Project Manager

Pegasus Engineering Ltd, a New Zealand owned business, specialises in providing large structural steelwork to the construction industry in the South Island. Currently participating in the build of the Te Kaha Canterbury Multi Use Arena (new stadium) the time has never been better to join our fantastic company and contribute to some amazing projects. We are currently seeking to employ a qualified experienced Project Manager to our Team and are looking for an individual with qualifications & skills necessary to be successful in a demanding (but rewarding) industry. Key attributes to the position include (but are not limited to) Successful execution of assigned project/s, from its initiation to completion and 'Contract Closure'.  The scope will generally include customer interface /engineering/detailing, procurement, fabrication, construction at site and handover to client.  Essential skills & Experience will include Must have at least 5 years' experience NZ/AUS project management experience with a proven track record. At least 7+ years construction experience Proficient in project management software and tools. Commercial build experience Excellent communication skills and ability to navigate tough conversations Leadership of Health and Safety Finance and budgeting skills Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Familiarity with using project management software You must be resident in New Zealand with no Visa restrictions with experience of the New Zealand construction sector Competitive salary in line with experience.
