Project Manager

The Company Experts in providing independent project management services to corporate and government clients. They specialise in planning and managing building and infrastructure projects. The Role This is a Consultant Project Manager position where you will deal directly with clients and co-ordinate other consultants and the main contractor on construction projects. As a Project Manager you will have responsibility over smaller projects or workstream's on larger projects or programmes. Professional Responsibilities include; Establish strong working relationships with key stakeholders, including client, contractors, consultants and key staff. preparation of contract documents, assist with calling tenders and appointing contractors. Support a Senior Project Manager with Programming works Manage site instructions, contract clarifications and design details between contractors, designers and others Monitor progress and report against the project programme. Develop plans to mitigate time overruns. Monitor site instructions & variations and report against project cost plan. About you 3 - 6 yrs experience post finishing a qualification in building science, engineering, architecture or construction management Excellent interpersonal skills and a desire to move into a consultant role Experience in quality assurance and control, risk assessment, site observation, construction monitoring is advantageous but not essential Possess excellent communication skills, professional, verbal and written communication.
