This role involves managing projects throughout the Bay of Plenty region. We seek a qualified and enthusiasticProject Manager to join our Operations team on a permanent, full-time basis. In this role, you'll be part of a team that covers project management of electricity transmission substation build and upgrade projects. Reporting to the Delivery Manager - Projects, you'll be in-charge for the successful delivery of projects from handover to closure to achieve specific outcomes for the customer and Northpower. You'll prioritize safety, assist with work plans, and ensure thorough completion of relevant field paperwork. Being the Project Manager, you will also be responsible for:- Ensure projects are completed on time and budget- Manage the handover of pricing from Estimating to Project team- Complete and closeout projects in a timely manner including financial reconciliation, job files, customer required documentation, contract performance feedback- Effectively manage customer liaison and arrangements- Scope and deliver materials and contract resources accurately- Manage financial position and performance of active projects including invoicing and work in progress- Ensure pricing and task plans are prepared and reviewed for accuracy and peer reviewed before submission of pricing/quotations- Periodically you will also be required to support and lead design and estimating activitiesWhat's in it for you?A role with us will enable you to achieve satisfaction of playing an important part in helping deliver essential services to our communities.
