About the CompanyThis is a medium-sized construction company with Tier 2 status, specializing in delivering projects across commercial new builds, refurbishments, weather tightness, interiors, and education-type projects. The company boasts decisive leadership at the top, ensuring quick responses to arising issues and maintaining a strong organizational structure. Performance feedback is regularly provided.Responsibilities as a Project ManagerAs a Project Manager, you will lead the programming of projects from the outset for all projects in the business. Your key responsibilities include:Acting as the go-to person for sequencing projects, collaborating with other Project Managers and Site Managers to assist and manage schedules, as well as resolve any clashes or issues.Running your own or a few projects, overseeing a site team and maintaining regular contact with project team members, site managers, sub-contractors, and other consultants.Proactively monitoring commercial and contractual issues with site managers and quantity surveyors, and reporting and advising on any problems.Being the project programming lead in the business.Key Success Factors for this RoleThe key success factors for this role include:Ideally tertiary qualifications in construction management, quantity surveying, or engineering.10+ years' experience in managing a mix of small to medium-sized projects, over $5M.Ability to lead and performance manage construction teams to achieve agreed outcomes.Strong programming and sequencing skills with advanced MS Project knowledge and application.Strong financial management with the ability to drive cost accountability.Outstanding written and oral communication skills.RemunerationRemuneration: $140K - $160K plus vehicleFor further information, please call Matt Shortt on 027 5544064, or email your details to ****** with reference number 127387 .#J-18808-Ljbffr
