The Role
As a Project Manager, you will be required to ensure the effective execution of our client's Financial Crime strategic initiatives, working closely with Enterprise leaders to outline program objectives and advantages and then converting them into actionable projects.
Additionally, this role involves aiding in delivery, overseeing governance, ensuring quality, and facilitating reporting, all while prioritizing customer satisfaction and desired outcomes. This role involves providing guidance and support to project leaders and other team members in project management techniques and realizing benefits, with the aim of enhancing and standardizing project governance and execution throughout the Enterprise. This is a 12-month contract position that can be based anywhere in New Zealand.
Lead and steer the execution of the Financial Crime program(s), ensuring that outcomes align with regulatory and Enterprise standards and are delivered within the agreed-upon budget and quality parameters.Guarantee that the Financial Crime program(s) comply with company project management standards, guidelines, processes, roles, and responsibilities.Understand and implement benefits management, change management, dependency management, resource allocation, risk assessment, planning, estimation, progress monitoring, documentation, and documentation controls.Take charge of the Quarterly planning process for the Financial Crime program(s), ensuring that it aligns seamlessly with the Enterprise strategy.Key Requirements 8+ years as a Programme/Project Manager with expertise in designing and implementing Financial Crime Prevention processes and solutionsPRINCE2/PMI accreditation and relevant tertiary qualificationExperience delivering transformational data and technology projectsHigh level knowledge in risk identification and control developmentAbility to lead and coach teamsProven decision-making experience and leadership while coordinating and integrating projectsExcellent verbal and presentation skillsIn return, you will receive a competitive rate along with flexible work environment and an excellent company culture.
