Our directors have created a friendly and relaxed culture with a strong focus on work-life balance, aiming to bring a genuinely inclusive and family feel to the business.We work across the following sectors:Electricity and Gas Transmission and DistributionThree waters infrastructureTelecommunicationsTransportAs well as in the Infrastructure and Vertical Building sector as required.Due to our ongoing success, we are looking to add to our growing TOBA family.The RoleThis role is for a Project Manager in our Energy team, delivering exciting projects for our key clients in the electricity sector.Projects typically involve the following:Electrical Generation, Distribution and Transmission projects: These projects may include work on all elements of design, procurement, and delivery of projects across the electricity industry, examples may include substation builds, transformer upgrades/relocations, re-conducting, transmission line upgrades, generation upgrades etc.Duties:Management of all phases of Project Delivery, from initiation through to closeout, utilising your understanding of project management principles, ideally gained through your knowledge of PMI processes (although not essential);Confidently manage and build trusted relationships with all stakeholders including the client's internal teams, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and partners;Assemble and manage design teams;Draft and manage programmes;Manage the tender process and construction activities;Administer Construction contracts using your knowledge of NZS3910 or NZS3916, or similar Construction contracts;Produce high-quality project reports and written correspondence;Travel periodically for project assignments;Be client facing and run meetings;Contribute to the growth of TOBA's business;Must be legally entitled to work in NZ; andHave a valid NZ Drivers licence.Skills and experienceWe are looking for a PM with 5+ years relevant industry experience.You should have:A bachelor's degree or equivalent tertiary qualification in engineering (electrical preferred), or an experienced technician/trade background and be working in a project management capacity;Great communication skills and confidence to be client facing;Have excellent written skills; proficiency in English at a business level is a must.A track record of delivering similar projects – large and small; andThe willingness to be part of a growing team and contribute to the growth of our business.If you're looking to join a company which delivers exciting projects for some of NZ's largest institutions, whilst harnessing a family focused and flexible working environment, we look forward to you hearing from you.Location and Contact DetailsOffice location: 27 Gillies Ave, Newmarket Auckland.We offer a very competitive salary commensurate with experience.We are focused on inhouse training and development of our staff, and actively provide on the job training to help upskill our team.Your application will include the following questions:Do you have a current New Zealand driver's licence?How many years of project management experience do you have?Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in New Zealand?Report this job advert Don't provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.#J-18808-Ljbffr
