Based at Auckland City Hospital, GraftonPermanent, Part-time role (28 hours per week)Salary $89,000 - $105,000 pa (pro-rata) based on experienceTe whiwhinga mahi The OpportunityThe Improvement arm of the Quality Safety and Risk team delivers a wide range of projects supporting the clinical teams to eliminate or reduce clinical risk, supporting the delivery of better quality and safer care for our patients and their whanau. This team is also responsible for key programmes of work relating to quality and safety for Te Toka Tumai.An example of this is the patient deterioration programme which aims to reduce harm from failures to recognise or respond to acute physical deterioration for all inpatients. Project management resource can be expected to support this programme of work and others like this that will develop over time. Other project work related to clinical risk may result from the insights we develop from the Quality and Safety data sets.
