Based in beautiful Hawkes Bay, we're looking for someone with commercial experience designing and leading the construction of electrical substations.
Role Overview:
You will be part of a growing team of Project Engineers, with a blend of skills across system design, engineering and construction. With an increasing investment across large-scale assets, they enjoy a range of exciting and challenging projects, with the freedom and autonomy to create effective long-term solutions.
The primary function of this role is to ensure the successful delivery of specialist projects, including substations and large infrastructure works. You will lead all critical functions, from initiation to close-out, while meeting quality, budget, timing, and commercial requirements. Additionally, you will provide expert engineering and technical guidance to support the wider Unison Group.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage and monitor critical functions throughout the project lifecycle to ensure effective and efficient delivery of specialist projects, meeting technical, quality, budget, timing, legislative, commercial, reporting, and documentation requirements.Facilitate effective delivery of individual specialist projects by managing risks, changes, and removing barriers to meet scope requirements.Provide project engineering services, input, support, and guidance across the Unison group, including engineering input for options analysis, scope optimization, and business case development.Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships internally and externally to ensure project delivery effectiveness and efficiency.Key Training & Experience:
Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering.High voltage substation mechanical and electrical design knowledge.Commercial knowledge and experience in power system construction and project management.Knowledge of relevant industry acts, regulations, and codes of practice.High voltage substation mechanical and electrical design knowledge.Understanding of power system protection schemes.Benefits:
