Details of the offer

With multiple projects across New Zealand this commercial construction company has well developed systems, management structures, and market credibility to win jobs and ensure a quality and timely delivery of projects. Due to continued growth they are looking for quality project engineers now!
This is a fixed term contract for the duration of the project, which is projected to last at least 6 months.

To be successful in this position you will:
• Experience running commercial sites in the vicinity of $2M - $20M
• Have advanced knowledge of New Zealand building codes and legislation
• Superior communication skills
• Have thorough sub-contractor management experience
• Have at least 10 years' experience in the construction sector
• Strong connection with subcontractors in the region

About you
• Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 4 years' experience in the construction and engineering industry.
• Proven ability and demonstrated experience in project planning, contract and vendor management, estimating and delivery.
• Strong technical knowledge and understanding.
• High level of communication, written and interpersonal skills.
• Sound computer literacy skills.
• Strong relationship building and negotiation skills.
• Awareness and understanding of Work Health and Safety principles and practices.
• Must be able to pass Ministry of Justice check
