This captures the spirit the Government brings to its work with the Royal Commission, and to what we, the Crown Response Unit does in response to the Royal Commission's recommendations. Our purpose | To matou Kaupapa The Crown Response Unit coordinates the Government's response to the Abuse in Care Royal Commission of Inquiry. Our current work programme is focused on responding to the Royal Commission's interim report that recommended the development of a new independent redress system for survivors. The Commission also recommended, and the Government agreed to four immediate pieces of work ahead of the establishment of the new independent redress system. About the role | Mo te turanga We're looking for someone that is flexible, adaptable, pragmatic, and results oriented with a forward thinking and open minded approach, to replace one of our fantastic team Project Coordinators servicing our workstreams. The Project Coordinator role is responsible for supporting the CRU with the successful delivery of our projects through the provision of project, logistical and general coordination support. We have a on the go at the moment and we are looking for someone to help with all aspects of project coordination from creating project schedules, managing project plans, organising logistics, reporting on project budgets and forecasts and more! You will naturally be super organised with top notch attention to detail, and also someone who has no trouble spinning a range of plates at any given time. You will have worked in a project coordination role previously so know the ins and outs of how projects are managed. Relationships with a wide range of stakeholders will be important - as you will be supporting a wide range of projects and colleagues across the CRU. What you can bring | Nga pumanawatanga ou * Demonstrated experience in successfully supporting projects including: * Experience in maintaining project plans. * Experience of monitoring project finances. * Experience in producing effective presentations, status reports and other project activities and artefacts. * Intermediate knowledge of email software, MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel. * Ability to develop and maintain positive and effective working relationships with others. * Well developed verbal and written communications skills. * Analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to understand complex and sometimes ambiguous themes. * Determined and resilient to navigate through times of pressure, challenge or ambiguity. * Ability to work well within and across teams.
