The role We are thrilled to offer a rewarding position for a dynamic Project Coordinator to become part of our Transmission Lines team located in Hamilton or Rotorua. This role involves providing support to the Project Management team throughout the Waikato and Bay of Plenty region. We seek a dynamic and enthusiastic Project Coordinator to join our Operations team on a permanent, full-time basis. In this busy and varied role, you'll be providing financial and administration support to our Transmission Lines Projects Team. Reporting to the Delivery Manager - Projects, you'll be bringing your excellent collaboration skills to the fore as daily communication and liaising with the team will be a big aspect of this role. Being the Project Coordinator, you will also be responsible for: - Raising purchase orders, accurate customer and network invoicing and reconciling project work prior to close-out - Effectively manage outstanding project work and prepare journals where applicable - Undertake a range of general administrative tasks including but not limited to filing, photocopying, scanning, emailing and record-keeping - Assist in monthly calculation of Work in Progress - Provide support to the project managers and estimators where required What's in it for you? Additionally, possessing the following would be beneficial: - Previous experience working in a similar or client/customer facing role - Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels - Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office suite - System-savvy and ability to learn new software systems both internal and external - Strong organisational skills, detail-focussed with the ability to prioritise work to meet targets and deadlines - Experience working with systems like JDE, COUPA and Maximo (preferable) - Critical thinking and contemplative skills with the ability to solve problems and make decisions - Strong interpersonal skills and experience working in a multi-cultural environment - A strategic thinker with the ability to solve problems and make decisions - Ability to motivate and influence others while demonstrating integrity and trust - Ability to work remotely if required.
