If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy supporting and liaising with multiple teams and stakeholders, then we would like to hear from you.About the roleAs our Project Coordinator, you will work closely with our Engineering teams; on a day-to-day basis, providing operational, financial, and administrative support.Supporting with general administration and co-ordination for our teams with efficient and effective project administration, and contributing to their overall performance.This is a busy role, so you will be a natural organiser with the ability to easily multi-task and prioritise your team's workload.Assist with the departments reporting, management functions and monthly invoicing.Support the day to day planning, communication and administration for the teams.Assist with project setup, proposals, multi-discipline tender submissions, document preparation, document control, and filing.Project tracking and management, assisting the Senior Engineers with project time frames, including tracking delivery to meet our client deadlines.Travel management and arrangements for the teams.Organise and prepare meetings, presentations, take minutes and manage correspondence.Provide front desk reception cover at lunch time once a week and as required.Work closely with our wider Administration team, supporting the workload and other general administrative tasks as required for the Christchurch office.We offerA 12-month fixed term contract to cover parental leave, working with a great team,competitive remuneration package, including options forflexible working, and opportunities for professional growth and development..About youProven administration experience with a minimum of 5 years+ in a similar role supporting a team/s in a busy, fast paced environment.Tertiary qualification in administration or business management would be an advantage.Excellent organisational skills, working to a high standard, with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with the capacity to multitask and adapt as priorities change.Advanced and highly proficient using Microsoft Office Packages - Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint.Experience using time management systems would be an advantage.Have a proactive approach to problem solving, with strong decision-making skills.Enjoy working with and relating to a wide range of people, a strong communicator with the ability to work well within a team.About usKirk Roberts Consulting is a multi-disciplinary company providing Structural, Geotechnical, Fire, Civil and Environmental Engineering Services; plus Architecture and Engineering Software to a range of clients across New Zealand, from our offices in Christchurch, Queenstown, Auckland, Hamilton, and Tauranga.At Kirk Roberts the heart of our business is innovation and finding a better way is why we exist.
