With a healthy pipeline of existing, future work and an excellent team culture, it is an exciting time to join the McConnell Dowell Family.About the role Reporting to the Finance Manager of Pacific Islands, your responsibilities will include: Maintaining financial systems within McConnell Dowell operating, reporting, control, audit requirements and accounting standards. Ensuring financial processes deliver required outcomes to time frames for job costing, cost reporting, cash flow and cost to complete reporting, monthly progress claims. Representation and management of company's financial relationships. Project cost report completed and produced to meet reporting time frame. Twelve-month cash flow forecast produced by 3rd working day of the following month. Support timely submittal of monthly progress claim with the Project team and it's input into Workbench Finance to review and input Workbench budgets (original, Work Scope Changes). Review and input into Workbench Subcontractor payments. Forecast Revenue in conjunction with the project team. Assist PE/PM's with Variation processing both with the Client & Subcontracts along with Workbench reporting. Interface with Project Manager to provide Monthly Cashflow reports. Here's what you'll need Minimum 5 years' experience in a large commercial accounting department in a Financial or Management Accountant role. Understanding of Construction Projects. Excellent numeracy and analytical ability. Advanced experience in the operation of accounting software packages including MS Suite. Able to operate autonomously and deliver to predetermined time frames. Don't tick all the boxes but you're still excited about this opportunity?
