Due to continued growth, we are looking for a ProgrammeManager (Reticulation Support) looking after the overall design, specificationand scope of works in the maintenance and replacement of work detailed in ournetwork assets in overhead and underground reticulation field. We are community owned and working here means a career with meaningand purpose that makes a difference in your very own neighbourhood.The roleAccountable for the network reticulation budgets inthe overhead and underground reticulation fieldContribute to the Asset Management and AnnualReticulation Maintenance plan and budgetsPlan and implement proposed road work that haveelectrical network conflictsCommission surveys, testing and inspections tominimise asset failures ensuring compliance is within regulation and Codes ofPracticeNegotiate new positions and associated costs regardingthe placement of lines, cables and associated plant where problems ariseAbout you5 years previous experience within the constructionand maintenance of overhead and underground power distribution systemsLevel 6 NZ Diploma in Engineering or equivalentknowledge gained through practical experienceExcellent communication and the ability to connectacross various external parties with strong negotiation and influencing skillsKnowledge of the Resource Management Act, NZEP 34 andthe National Code of Practice for Utility Operators Access to TransportCorridorsUnderstanding of the NZ Regulatory environment and howit applies to the electricity industryPrevious experience in Project Management or ContractManagementWe offerYou'll find at Orion, you can come as you are and just beyou.
